Lorelei DiTommaso

As a physician, I view each patient encounter as both a privilege and a partnership. Every visit I consider to be a precious time where I am fully present for my patients to be heard and I believe there is no substitute for a thorough examination. I strive for all treatment regimens to be carefully conveyed and confidently understood.

Regarding dermatology, I enjoy early detection, treatment, and prevention of skin cancers as well as identifying and treating a wide array of skin diseases in patients of all ages. I am passionate about helping patients to create personalized preventative skin care routines and check-ups to maintain healthy skin. One of the greatest rewards as a dermatologist is visibly impacting the lives of others and building patients’ confidence in their skin. For those patients whose goals are cosmetically minded, I believe in a collaborative approach that blends the latest scientifically efficacious, safe, and minimally invasive practices with an artful eye to emphasize the unique and natural beauty that is inherent to every individual.

I was born and raised in the Chicagoland area, where I was fortunate to complete my medical training being close to my family. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from DePaul University with a major in Biochemistry and a minor in Italian. Following college, I completed a Masters in Public Health at University of Illinois at Chicago in Environmental Health. I earned my medical degree from Rush Medical College. Subsequently, I completed an internship in Internal Medicine at NorthShore University Health System and dermatology residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where I served as Chief Resident of the cosmetic education program. My future career goals include empowering and educating myself as a physician to practice environmentally conscious medicine.

In my free time, I enjoy learning about and practicing various forms of yoga, cooking, discovering new music, and going to the movies. I am very passionate about the outdoors and my love and respect for nature has brought me to the Pacific Northwest. I feel very grateful and honored to practice at Broadway Medical Clinic and have the opportunity to serve the patients of this community.
