I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Children’s Mental Health Specialist. I have practiced social work for over 10 years and have a lot of experience working with families living with mild to severe mental health needs. I am a trauma informed clinician with training in crisis interventions, ADHD supports, LGBTQ+ affirming treatment and family therapy. In sessions with me, you can expect to have a nonjudgmental environment where you are respected and cared for with dignity and confidentiality. I have a welcoming and playful demeanor and will often use games and physical activities to engage with clients. I am calm and collected when supporting clients in serious and difficult conversations as well as engaging and present when building coping skills and reinforcing the strengths of the client.
Biography
I am a parent and a partner who enjoys the company of friends and family. My happy place is being in the water, whether it is swimming, surfing, boating or hot tubbing. I like to plan activities or social events and exercise or move my body even if I am not as fast or coordinated as the other participants. I love to learn because I am okay with getting it wrong and I stay engaged until I can get it right.
