This Fall, we are proud to welcome two new doctors to our team of talented physicians at Broadway Medical Clinic: Drs. Lorelei DiTommaso and Tracy Hansen. Learn more about their background and approach to patient care, below.
Dr. Lorelei DiTommaso, Broadway Dermatologist
Care Approach
“As a physician, I view each patient encounter as both a privilege and a partnership. Every visit I consider to be a precious time where I am fully present for my patients to be heard and I believe there is no substitute for a thorough examination. I strive for all treatment regimens to be carefully conveyed and confidently understood.”
Background and Education
Dr. DiTommaso is a Chicago native with a passion for people and the planet. She majored in Biochemistry at DePaul University before completing her Masters in Public and Environmental Health at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. D. went on to earn her medical degree from Rush Medical College. She completed an internal medicine internship and served as the Chief Resident of the Cosmetic Education program at the University of Illinois at Chicago. We are pleased to have Dr. DiTommaso aboard the Broadway team! Make an appointment to see her starting this Fall.
Dr. Tracy Hansen, Broadway Internist
Care Approach
“I enjoy thinking outside the box and coming up with the best strategy for each patient. The mind-body connection is an important factor and I take all aspects of a person into account in the process of diagnosis and management of disease. I always strive to take a non-judgmental approach when working with my patients–starting with where they are and finding ways to move them toward better health.”
Background and Education
Dr. Hansen is an Army veteran and graduate of Oregon Health Science University. She is passionate about women’s and LGBTQ+ health care. Dr. Hansen also has a special interest in helping patients prevent and treat chronic illnesses. She believes that each patient deserves individual strategies that work specifically for them and their health. While there are many scientifically proven treatments and methods, Dr. H. likes to “think outside of the box” to give patients the personalized care they deserve.
